W.W. (Chet) Walker
Chairman of the Investment Committee
Mr. Walker currently serves as the Chairman of the Investment Committee of Falfurrias Capital Partners. Mr. Walker began his professional career in 1972 when he joined a predecessor of Bank of America. During his thirty year tenure with the institution, he had a variety of assignments including Corporate Banking and founding and managing the Private Placements, Syndications, and Project Finance Groups within NationsBank and NCNB, predecessors of Bank of America. Mr. Walker founded Bank of America Capital Investors in 1993. Capital Investors is a private equity investment arm of Bank of America that focuses on buyouts, recapitalizations, and growth capital financings. Over a ten year span, Capital Investors invested approximately $1.4 billion in more than 100 equity and mezzanine transactions. Mr. Walker was the managing partner until his retirement in 2002.
Mr. Walker currently serves on the Board of Directors of Barry-Wehmiller Group, Inc., ESP Systems, LLC, and Roll-Rite Holdings LLC and on the advisory board of Copeley Capital Partners I, L.P.
Mr. Walker received a Bachelor in Business Administration degree from Emory University and a Masters of Business Administration degree from the Harvard Business School.
