One Deal Team

Unlike many private equity firms that have large teams and take a siloed approach to execution, Falfurrias Capital Partners has one deal team which is fully engaged on each and every deal. Importantly, Hugh McColl and Marc Oken bring a wealth of experience in building and managing companies – not just buying them. Todd Taylor has spent his career as an entrepreneur running companies, and for six years prior to joining Falfurrias, worked with a private equity firm as an Operating Partner sourcing and diligencing investment opportunities, and working with portfolio company management teams. Ed McMahan has spent his entire career working in M&A and private equity, with a focus on the Southeast.

In addition to the Founders and Partners, Falfurrias has two Operating Partners (JJ Schonberg and Rob Cummings) who support the operational needs of the firm and provide critical strategic services to Falfurrias portfolio companies. The entire Falfurrias team is engaged in every deal from identification and deal due diligence, to portfolio company operation, resulting in consistent decision-making for our investors.
